So...I haven't been working on Orbobors the Brick Kingdom recently. Why? Inspiration, pure and simple.
Long ago, I ran a Steve Jackon's In Nomine game, which was simply the best (thanks to my awesome players). As such, I've always wanted to write my own take on the angelic/demonic RPG genre.
I just never got to it.
Then came Good Omens.
Then came Hazbin Hotel.
Then fricken Angel Hare.
I snapped; I had to do it.
And so I did, over the course of a frenzied week. Ever since it's been editing and playtesting, now it's ready.
As Above, So Below
Heaven and Hell both agreed to watch the Cosmos unravel and see how it turns out. If it ends up wonderous, Lucifer would admit Heaven was right all along; if it turned out horrid, Metatron would have to admit the way of Hell is wisdom. Both sides swore never to interfere.
They were lying.
As Above, So Below is a complete TTRPG about earthbound angels and demons who prefer Earth over their old homes. They get along and try to navigate and enjoy their lives despite the shenanigans thrown their way.
It uses Story 6, my derivative of Open D6. It's a simple system that doesn't get in the way of whimsy. The full rules are included.
If you love a good olde divine comedy, give it a try.
You can find it on itch.
You can find it on DriveThruRPG.
You can even find it on Amazon.
So check it out and leave a review if you're so inclined.
